Tree Surgery
We offer a professional Tree Surgery service, fully insured with Public Liability and our qualified and experienced team are able to assist you in every way. We offer a wide range of services including:
Crown Thinning
This is the removal of small branches, usually at the outer crown of a tree. Usually this involves deciduous trees and is not intended to reduce either the size or the shape of the tree but to allow more light through the tree or to reduce wind resistance.
Crown Lifting
The lifting of the crown to increase light to areas near to the tree.
Crown Reduction
Crown reduction may be used to reduce the effects of shading and light loss in a garden.
Dismantle
Dismantling of nuisance trees or those that have out grown the area they reside in is sometimes necessary. We offer a full dismantle service and employ safe rigging techniques to safely lower sections of the tree.
Tree Preservation Orders / Conservation Area Application
We can advise and apply for work to be carried out on trees that are located in Conservation Areas or currently have Tree Preservation Orders. Prior to the commencement of any work, enquiries are made by ourselves with the local authority to ensure that no planning applications are required, giving piece of mind to the customer that all legal requirements have been fulfilled. Every precaution is taken to ensure we are compliant with nesting birds and the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.

Logs/Chip/Wood Splitting
Logs
We aim to recycle all of the waste products we generate. We have a healthy supply of seasoned hard and soft wood logs for sale and can deliver locally. Our logs come in all sizes from full tipper loads to small petrol station ‘grab bags’. We do supply lengths of wood for either those wishing to process their own firewood or use the wood for decorative or furniture purposes, please contact us with your specifications if there is something unique you require.
Chip
Because of the equipment we use, we generate wood chip, also known as bark mulch. We can deliver wood chip for decorative or planting purposes. We are keen to support our local community projects, if you have a project that requires a unique amount of chip then get in touch. Splitting Service
Have you an amount of wood in your garden that you haven’t got around to
splitting? One of those jobs that you just can’t find the time to do? We offer a
splitting service, we come to you with our professional 12-ton splitter and split
your wood for seasoning, taking the hassle out of one of those jobs that you
just can’t seem to find the time to do.
At Brownberrie Tree Services we take client confidentiality very seriously, our
staff are DBS checked and vetted by the government to Security Cleared level.

Gardens
Our client base includes both commercial and domestic clients. We are also
an approved contractor for a large Housing Association and regularly carry out garden maintenance and clearances. We are contracted to maintain
large areas of shrubs, hedges and cut and maintain large areas of grounds
and gardens. We also mow, edge, and fertilise lawns weed and mulch
landscapes and plant flowers, trees, and shrubs. We offer a landscaping
service, our staff are experienced in turfing, seeding and laying artificial turf.
From Privet to Beech to Leylandii we take hedge maintenance seriously, reducing hedges by too much or at the wrong time of year can damage them permanently and lead to them becoming unhealthy. We take great care to ensure whatever species of hedge we are maintaining that it is trimmed to promote its health and the specifications of the client.

Stump Grinding
We offer a complete stump grinding service, we understand that stumps can be unsightly or there is a need to use the land they occupy. We use the latest technology which enables us to completely remove the stump, checking the area prior to any grinding for cables and / or services. We also offer a preventative growth eco plug system which is effective in preventing re-growth on stumps.
